Stylish Catskills Wedding | Foxfire Mountain House | Keshia & Corey

Keshia and Corey thought about their wedding day for quite a while, and it showed. When I first met them, we talked about how important it’d been for them to take their time in the planning process. They’d already been together for several years and watched lots of their friends get married, so they were incredibly sure of themselves and their vision. Plus, they are SO cool and fun so it was bound to be a great time.

They wanted to give their guests a reason to escape the city, so they had a whole weekend of activities (including the wedding itself!) at the super special Foxfire Mountain House in the Catskills — delicious food and drinks with an excellent team. Guests for the wedding were greeted with music by Fake Tapes, who also provided ceremony music, on the front porch. The couple was married under an arch built by the groom’s brothers, in a ceremony officiated by Reverend Jeddah Vailakis that left everyone weepy.

Jessica Juliet, a fashion illustrator, created the most fabulous digital drawings of guests during cocktail hour. The reception was DJed by DJ Edward of Scorpio Entertainment (who instantly charmed us with an *NSYNC deep cut to kick off dinner). The lovely Nikki Pettus of Strega Flora designed the day, including the paper goods, hand-dyed table linens, and of course, the flowers. And you know a fashion stylist wouldn’t get married without an incredible glam squad: Jennifer Jocelyn, Kristen Ruggiero, and Angela-Lynn Ware were total all-stars and a dream to work with. It was absolutely incredible and a real joy to be a part of!
