Elegant West Village Wedding | Little Owl The Townhouse | Risako & Ivin

We met Risako in early fall, as she was trying to figure out what to do next. She and her fiancé, Ivin, had a wedding date in mind and a vision they couldn’t quite put their fingers on. We planned and designed their wedding in only a few months, while they juggled busy schedules, different timezones, an overseas move, and three major holidays. They put their whole hearts into an elegant celebration for their family and closest friends to kick off 2020.

After considering a few different configurations, we doubled down on their original dream: a small, private ceremony at City Hall followed by dinner and drinks to celebrate with their favorite people. Little Owl The Townhouse turned out to be the perfect place — warmth and character in the heart of the West Village. Their team not only served incredible food and drinks, but also took care of floral design and the unbelievable customized chalk mural. We called in A Simple Cake for their specialty: a simple cake, in chocolate (delicious). Willow House Beauty made Risako look like her best, most beautiful self. And DJ Empanadamn played party jams that we’d never heard in all our years of weddings. It was a lovely night for a lovely couple!
